Who we are

WHO WE ARE

Teammates (in theTSS Rovers) in British Columbia’s highest level of youth soccer – the BCSPLleague – our group is always looking to enrich our training. Whether that’s additional technical training (with the Volf Academy) or finding opportunities to travel, our tight-knit, committed group of sporty high-achievers is driven to succeed.

Hot on the heels of last year’s victorious trip (we won Gold!) to Gothenburg, Sweden for the world’s largest youth soccer tournament — the Gothia Cup— this group is poised for their next adventure: training in Marbella, Spain this coming summer.

TRAINING IN SPAIN

This August, our girls will join a handful of elite 2009-2011 born players from across Canada to travel alongside the UBC Women’s Soccer Team to Marbella, Spain. We will benefit from meeting other like-minded female soccer players from all over Canada and have the chance to forge new friendships and connections. Exposure to European soccer clubs will be gained through numerous friendly matches, as well as mentorship from the UBC Women’s players. For 8 days, we will have the chance to experience a glimpse of what professional soccer life in Europe is all about.

THE ASK

While we are endlessly hard-working and dedicated, it’s a lot to ask our parents to fully fund our training. To that end, we are humbly reaching out to our communities to help grow our dreams and are grateful for any support we can drum up. Thank you!
